How could I love you again

How could I love you again?
Why in my dreams do I think of you?
Pardon my heart for the sin, of loving you once more.
There was a time when I knew.
That we'd be together for all time,
But now I know why it had to end,
My heart, no faith in you.....

Bridge comes next.

No sense, Just Blues

Part I
I sit here listening
Hearing the blues play over the waves
The suddenly I see a star
A bright and shiny star
In her eyes there is a star
Then all of a sudden she shuts her eyes
And there is total darkness
Until she smiles that bright smile
That moon is smiling like the river Nile.

Part II
You hear, you listen
You see the birds
What birds my friend
What birds he says
The birds above the womans head
I don't see no birds over there
Just look at the woman
You'll see, you'll see
Listen to them chirp
Listen to them sing
What tune they sing
What tune, what tune
The sound of lovers
Singing how high these blues

How high these blues,
Hmm.........
Or could it be How high this moon
With the sun overlapping
those angels eyes
I love the girl until I die

Part III
Could it be
Magic or Birds
or the Jordany
we soon go through.

The journey's long
The journey's short
We need the blues to make it work
It doesn't rhyme
It doesn't swing
Why should it matter
As long as it sings

So to summarize
My little poem
We make it sweet
Nice, Lovely and Warm

The FZ Blues

You think you love me
You really do
Poor little baby
I feel for you

You don't know how much
I've heard it before
My little sweetheart
You gotta do more

Why don't you show me
And tell me how you really feel

Oh my baby darling
You are so good to me
But at times you can be
So annoying you see

But I think I know how
You can prove it to me
And if you get it right
I may let you right in.

Why don't you show me
And tell me how you really feel

Lord Give me the Hope

Lord give me the hope and strength to know your peace
Where I can believe in joy and love in the world
Where all the people will treat each other with dignity
And our love will all become as one

I just want to cry and call out to you Jesus!
For when I see some sitting out on the streets
I ask you to help them with all their suffering moments
Let them be rich in mind and soul

Can we all be one and speak with conviction
Are we able to live as one humanity
For there is hope in truth and with our goals
Then all the meek and strong will be as one

Can we be free
Can we be free
Free with our hearts
Free with our soul
We want real peace
We want real freedom
Can we be free
With God and peace with thee??

Meditations, Quotes and Thoughts of Saalik Ahmad Ziyad

I believe I wrote these in 1999 or 2000 while I was sitting in the Boutell Memorial Concert hall listening to a choir sing. At this time I was sitting next to a lovely lady who was a great friend of mind and she really inspired me. So I was listening to the music and looking at her, and listening and looking and I just came up with these words. I haven't felt that inspired sense. But every once in awhile I think about that moment and her and come up with some good thoughts. It was always a good memory. I hope you dig my words.

"The greatness of music is the love and passion for humanity and human nature"

"I have seen his greatness, through love and devotion through the body and soul"

"It has been foreseen that the Lord has done great and he shall have the disciple follow through with song"

"It is therefore beseeched by the followers of Christ that they hear the true voice and music of our Lord"

She's gone from me!

In the morning when I wake, you're no longer there, Do i even care, my heart's done with you. All that I need is just to be free of you. it's no longer true. You had a hold unto my heart, but you let it go. Now I'm alone but I must move on. When I'll find another one who'll come to me. (new lyric of a song)

Here not Yet

At last the time has come when the silence is upon the night and beauty quakes in the sea of rawness. Out comes the one who has yet seen the light. For shall they see this bright beacon and welcome in this: peace is not a dream realized but it shall come forth like a righteous sword.
